S23 belongs to a group of drugs called SARM (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator). SARM works like Testosterone by mimicking the anabolic properties. The difference between Androgenic Anabolic Steroids and SARM is that it does not produce highly pronounced androgenic results, in other words the less severe androgenic results. It is called selective androgen receptor modulator because anabolic steroids bind androgen receptors throughout the body. In case of SARM, binding of androgen receptors happens only in selective tissues.
